The M/S Nile Quest is a Deluxe Five Star Nile cruiser. Its maiden voyage was in 2002 but the ship underwent extensive renovations in 2006 updating the cabins and common areas with modern décor and amenities as well as adding new services. The ship is widely regarded as one of the best Deluxe Five Star ships on the Nile.
Upon entering the ship you are greeted by marble floors, modern decor and a nearly 30 foot tall winding staircase. On the bottom deck the Nile Quest features its theme restaurant with seating for up to 142 guests. There is also a second, private restaurant that can accommodate up to 30 guests. Several business amenities are on board including a Internet café, business centre and conference room. The Lounge and Disco bar features a dance floor and full bar serving beer, wine and liquor. The Sun deck has one of the largest swimming pools on any Nile cruise ship with both a plunge pool and splash section as well as a Jacuzzi. Seating on the Sun Deck includes both shaded sitting areas and sunning areas with padded lounge chairs. If you need any refreshments while enjoying the sun there is a bar with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. If you need to keep in shape while on vacation you can do so in the indoor gym. The Nile Quest also has a panoramic view elevator to make navigating the floors of the ship easier and more convenient.
The ship has 45 luxurious cabins, 14 Junior Suites, 2 Royal Suites and 1 Presidential Suite. All guest cabins feature French balconies with panoramic view windows, individually controlled air conditioning, safe deposit box, mini bar, telephone, satellite TV with DVD player, central music system, and private bathroom with shower and hydro-massage bathtub. The standard cabins are approximately 225 square feet. The Junior Suites are a little larger then Standard cabins with separate living and bedroom areas. The Royal and Presidential Suites measure over 400 square feet and have connected living and bedroom areas.
