The M/S Al Hambra was inaugurated April 2010, setting a new standard in the Nile cruise industry. The all-suite ship features 330 square feet of space in each of the spectacularly appointed standard suites including more bathroom space then you will find on any other ship.
The Al Hambra has 42 suites total, 38 Standard suites, 2 Malik suites and 2 Hareem suites. All suites are located on one of three decks, the Al Sultan deck located on the second floor of the ship, the Al Wazir deck located on the third floor of the ship or the Al Khalifa deck located on the fourth floor of the ship. The Malik and Hareem suites are located on the Al Khalifa deck. Malik suites measure 450 square feet and Hareem suites measure 560 square feet. Suites feature mini bar, safe deposit box, direct dial telephone, satellite TV, high speed wireless internet and private bathroom with full bathtub, Jacuzzi and shower. Two standard suites located on the Al Sultan deck are handicap accessible and the ship includes a panoramic view elevator to make navigating between floors easier.
Unique to the Al Hambra and not found on any other Nile cruise ship is the two-level complete spa with features including indoor relaxation pool, single and double dry and wet massage rooms, steam, sauna and Turkish bath, Jacuzzi and a fully equipped gym. Exquisite dining will be enjoyed throughout your cruise in the elegant restaurant decorated in purple hues and natural wood. You can also grab a snack or drink by the pool from the sun deck bar. Night time entertainment and a full bar is found in the lounge. If you just want a place to sit and relax the indoor atrium spans three floors each with a lobby and sitting area.
