Is a meeting point of continents and diving line between seas! The most important peaks are the Moses’ mountain 2285 meters, St. Catherine mountain 2642 meters – the highest in Egypt. The west coast that from Sharm-el- sheikh to Ras Mohamed goes as far as Taba, is distinguished by numerous coral reefs that occur in succession, one after the other creating the ideal conditions for a flora and a marine fauna the variety and richness of which have no peer in other seas
Our Excursion to the famous monastery of St. Catherine we start in the early morning. It is around 2. 30 minutes far from Sharm El Sheikh. The monastery is situated 1571 m above sea level. We will visit the church of St. Catherine, the Icon gallery, the Charnel house, the burning bush, Moses well, the Library of the monastery. Then we will have some fun and adventures, to discover the extraordinary colors and shapes of the rocks which were formatted by the magic of nature. We’ll drive with a 4×4 vehicle for tow hours from the monastery to the north along the normal road till Nuweiba city, then for 40 minutes you should hold your self because we will drive along the track, sands and mountains till we reach the colored canyon. From the mouth of the canyon we will get down for 250 meter deep, then walk for one and half hour in the canyon between the rock, you will enjoy with the nature, the rocks and the different colors. You will see amazing paintings which are painted by the erosion of the wind and water. After our adventure we will go to Nuweiba city to have lunch at the restaurant which is situated on the beach of the gulf of Aqaba. You have possibility to go to Dolphin bay to watch a Dolphin makes friendship with a Bedouin man. Their you can also swim or snorkel for a while. We’ll end our trip with a free tour in Dahab city.
